Most people know I fished all my live, and Mitchell reels are the most used reels by me.

As a boy I grew up with the ALBATROS era, Mitchell reels, tackle from France, that is what I used all the time, the ALBATROS anual catalogue was the highlight in the spring, new released reels, rods, lines and lures.

Over the years I have searched for the old lures as I used them as a kid, and now the most is found and back in my tackle box.

Sometimes I use some and found out they still work great, here a glimp of the past.................

Reel for light spinning, the Albatros Mitchell 308 Benjamin, loaded with Mitchell line.

Lures: Flopy, Spicky, Vivif, Truitex, Plucky, all used for fishing for Pike and Perch.......

Spinners, Mitchell , Voblex, spinning for Pike and Perch.

Spoons: Bracko in yellow and red, and my all time favorite, Rublex Eira, slow spining for Pike..

The box is almost complete as I used it ong ago, still need to find a old de-hooker and Scale.
